1. Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Product scope

A local-first nutrition tracker with food logging, nutrition estimates, body metrics, source confidence, exports, local deletion, and user-triggered food-data lookup.

The app is for personal information, organization, or wellness support only. It is not a medical device, diagnosis tool, treatment tool, emergency service, or substitute for professional advice.

3. User responsibility

You are responsible for checking entries, settings, shared content, quantities, dates, permissions, and results before relying on them.

4. Accounts, content, and safety

The current version does not provide an app account. Local data, backups, and exported files are your responsibility.

5. Purchases, subscriptions, and ads

Prices, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and restore options are shown before purchase by the applicable store or payment interface. Paid features must not be abused, transferred, or bypassed.

If you install the app through Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store terms, billing, cancellation, refund, and subscription-management rules also apply.

6. Third-party services and data sources

Open Food Facts for user-triggered uncached barcode lookup; Apple App Store and Google Play if future store purchases are enabled. Current local-first scope otherwise avoids remote Exactake processors.

Third-party food and nutrition data can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Review sources, labels, quantities, and uncertainty yourself.

7. Availability and changes

Features may change, be limited, interrupted, or removed. Local, store, network, and third-party conditions can affect availability.

8. Warranty and liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or any liability that cannot legally be limited. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by German law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

We are not willing or obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board under the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG).

10. Changes

We may update this document when the app, legal requirements, or store disclosure requirements change. The date at the top shows the current version.
