Provider and purpose
The provider is Timon Polley. Full provider and contact details are in the legal notice. These terms concern your own text and images supplied for your Wunschkiste profile or boxes. They govern the limited use necessary for those features; they grant no rights to other people’s content. Confirming this version does not order Premium or a subscription and does not trigger payment.
Your content remains yours
You retain your rights to the content you supply. By explicitly confirming, you grant the provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to the extent you hold the necessary rights. It is limited to these purposes: storing and technically transmitting content for your profile or box; resizing, compressing or formatting images for app and web display; showing content to you and your guests within the intended invitation flow; and necessary content review, handling reports and protecting these functions. Necessary technical provision may take place in countries where the services used operate; recipients and data transfers are described in the privacy notice.
The provider may involve technical service providers used to deliver these functions only to the extent necessary. This permission does not include selling your content, independently exploiting it, or using it in advertising, Store screenshots or other marketing materials. Those uses would require separate sufficient permission. You do not transfer ownership or an exclusive right to your content.
Own wish photos within a box use the same limited upload permission. Optional custom wish details consist of at most five label/value pairs.
Visibility and your own images
Profile photos remain within your authorised account and are not published as gift-givers’ pictures. Guests see a preset cover instead of your own box cover until the exact uploaded image version has been manually approved. Own wish photos use the same review of the exact image digest and revision; guests see a neutral visual until approval. A replacement needs new review. You can see an unapproved image in your authorised view. Approval does not promise that all rights are cleared or that content will remain available permanently.
Invitation codes and links grant access to people who know them; they can be forwarded. Share them only with intended guests. Wunschkiste cannot recall other people’s screenshots, downloads or forwarded copies. For a child’s birthday, you can use a preset illustration instead of a child’s photo.
Content you may supply
Supply only content that you may store, process and share for these purposes. Other people’s works require sufficient permission from the rights holders; pictures of people require their necessary consent and, for children, the necessary permission of the responsible parent. A parent approval for a Wunschkiste account replaces neither these image rights nor other depicted people’s permission. Do not upload confidential documents, private credentials or unnecessary personal information about others.
Prohibited content includes rights-infringing, discriminatory, harassing or threatening content, sexual exploitation and child sexual abuse material. Do not use boxes or invitations for fraud or to circumvent restrictions. Content may be restricted for review or removed for violations; access may be restricted. A word and link filter does not replace complete content review.
Wunschkiste imports no retailer photographs or shop descriptions and does not retrieve product details automatically. The prepared link helper may suggest a name from the path of your HTTPS link without loading the retailer page; review that suggestion. Enter the wish, price and optional details yourself; a supported HTTPS shop link opens the retailer externally. Seeing a shop image online does not give permission to copy it. Wunschkiste’s content approval does not grant those rights.
Age groups and parent approval
Adults declare their age group in the supported flow. An own account at 13–17 requires recorded parent approval. Own photo uploads additionally require explicit, recorded permission from the parent for this upload use; an earlier general account approval does not grant it retrospectively. Without that photo permission, use preset illustrations. Under 13, use a responsible parent’s account; that parent decides which content is supplied there and must hold the necessary rights and permissions.
In the supported family flow, the parent can explicitly grant or withdraw the additional photo permission. Photo withdrawal blocks future own photo uploads but does not automatically remove previously stored images. To remove existing images, use the available functions or the contact method below. General account approval and photo permission are separate decisions; photo permission does not establish rights to a particular image either.
Age statements, verified email and parent declarations are recorded statements. Wunschkiste does not claim independent verification of age, identity or parental authority. Account approval and its withdrawal are separate from permission concerning uploaded content and account deletion. Details are in Help and Privacy.
Removal and end of use
You can replace or remove your own images through the available feature and request erasure of your associated account data. For questions about removal or ending this use, contact dev@timonply.com. Uninstalling, signing out or archiving a box does not erase its server data. Guests who lose device access may need to prove permission so that someone else’s content is not erased.
The licence for ongoing display ends upon confirmed removal or erasure of the affected content. Where technically necessary backups remain until their regular overwrite, or bounded evidence is needed to handle a report, protect the service or defend legitimate claims, only the retention and processing necessary for those purposes remain covered; renewed publication or marketing use is excluded. Closed report receipts are intended for manual cleanup after 90 days; open cases remain until handled, with no automatic deletion job. After confirmed image removal, the private image store may retain empty objects with zero image bytes and bounded technical deletion fences. They prevent a delayed upload from restoring a removed image under the same object identifier. These records may include internal owner, list/account, resource and object identifiers and bounded status and capacity data; the fence contains no image content, names or email addresses and cannot sign in to or restore a deleted account. Historically occupied object slots are not released by removing an image. These technical fences currently have no automatic expiry, so complete removal of every technical reference or later release of all capacity is not promised. Contact the controller with questions about their continued necessity or erasure.
Premium and store subscriptions
Premium is offered in supported native versions through Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing. A purchase is possible only when the relevant store provides the product and purchase dialog and purchase verification is available. Standard euro plans are €1.99 per month or €14.99 per year; the price, currency, period and renewal terms displayed in the relevant store purchase dialog are binding. A server-verified active membership is ad-free and has no Wunschkiste-imposed count limit on boxes or wishes. Technical overall capacity, abuse protection, request, file and image limits remain and may temporarily prevent actions. A preview or an unverified purchase message does not unlock Premium. Upload confirmation does not replace a separate store purchase confirmation. Management, renewal, cancellation and refunds are explained in Help.
Store test purchases in Apple’s sandbox or Google Play licence testing are accepted only for explicitly server-allowlisted technical test accounts. Installing a beta or joining a test group does not automatically grant that permission. Test and production purchases are verified separately; a test confirmation does not confer a paid production membership.
Reports and contact
Report problematic content through “Report content” in a box or wish menu, or to dev@timonply.com. Identify the content and reason without sending passwords, private keys or complete identity documents. “Block creator” hides that creator’s boxes for your access; it does not erase other people’s content. Only a receipt confirmation shows that a report has arrived. Handling does not guarantee a particular legal assessment or immediate removal.
